He began his career as a CPA and auditor for Ernst and Young. From there, Matt moved on to a successful career with Plaut Consulting as one of their first SAP FI/CO consultants in the U.S. Under the guidance and expertise of some of the leading FI/CO consultants from Plaut Europe, he perfected his understanding of the tools and written methodologies inherent in the SAP system. In 1997, he worked Vortex Consulting with the idea of providing the top industry talent in the SAP market place. Nearly 20 years later, the formula has been a success as Vortex has expanded throughout the U.S. and Canada.   Under his guidance and expertise, the visitor has since grown into practice specialties in FSCM, Managed Functional Services, HR Payroll Support, ABAPMinutiaeand BI/BPC Dashboarding Solutions. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..   Scott Young  Vice President of Operations Scott Young is president of Vortex Canada and vice president of operations in the U.S. Following a successful career as a logistics and procurement professional with Mobil Corporation, where he was introduced to SAP R2 in 1990, Scott extended his ERP expertise with positions at Oracle Corporation and i2 Technologies, holding roles in implementation consulting, merchantry process reengineering, solution architecture, and product minutiae of merchantry solutions. Scott joined Vortex in 2000 and brought with him the philosophy of maintaining rigorous standards to the staff-augmentation candidate qualification process. In 2003, Scott led the expansion of operations in Canada to provide one-stop sourcing for clients with operations on both sides of the border. Since joining Vortex Consulting in 2006, Gary has led the company’s Oracle Services Practice. In this role, he has powerfully grown the organization by providing outstanding consumer service in consulting, applications development, and Oracle DBA support.  Prior to joining Vortex, Gary spent 9 years at Oracle Corporation, where he held leadership roles in ERP consulting and software product minutiae and was a member of Oracle’s Field Advisory Board. His main focus is on monthly financial statements preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and overseeing the day-to-day written and finance activities. Prior to joining Vortex, John worked for a New York-based written firm as a supervisor in the tax and small merchantry department. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and graduated with a bachelor’s stratum in written from SUNY Geneseo.
